  3. Thank you for purchasing "ARAKITRONICS".  This Read Me section includes 
  4. the step-by-step instructions not explained in the manual.  
  5. Please be sure to read these instructions so that you can fully enjoy this 
  6. product.

  10. ============= Installation of ARAKITRONICS 
  11.  
  12. 1. Please insert the CD-ROM ARAKITRONICS into the CD-ROM drive.
  13. 2. From the File Manager, choose "Setup.exe".
  14. 3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  15.  
  16. Warning:
  17. *Avoid installing in the root directory
  18. *Avoid selecting the directory where other software is already installed.
  19. *When installing the new software , avoid selecting the directory where 
  20. ARAKITRONICS's file is already installed.
  21.  
  22. 4. To exit, press Ctrl+ Q key.

  25. ============= Installation  QuickTime for Windows 2.03
  26.  
  27. If you do not have the QuickTime for Windows, please install QuickTime 
  28. 2.03.
  29. You must install the QuickTime for Windows.  To install the QuickTime, 
  30. click "Setup" button.

  34. ============= Arakitronics OPERATIONS
  35.  
  36. "ARAKITRONICS" consists of three modes; the Arakitronics, the Suggested Order
  37. Movie, and the Footage Index.
  38.  
  39. ARAKITRONICS:
  40. This mode enables viewers to see a slide show which includes the best 250
  41. photographs, selected from over 1500 shots.
  42.

  44. Footage Index:
  45. This mode enables viewers to access the desired photographs in Araki's
  46. shooting sequence.  Selections can be made from 27 different thumb-nail
  47. movies.  Slide up and down the footage screen in a vertical fashion to
  48. reveal more thunb-nail movie selections. Viewer can see the images in slow
  49. motion by placing the mouse on the selected image.  Selected frames can be
  50. viewed in full size at any time by double clicking the mouse over the
  51. selected frame.  The enlarged image will be followed by a slide show of the
  52. selected images.  During the slide-show, pressing the tab key to display
  53. "thumb-nail" can be used in the same way as the index function, to select
  54. desired photographs.

  57. Suggested Order Movie
  58.  
  59. This mode enables viewers to see photographs, taken from a selection of
  60. over 1500 shots, in random order.  Every time this selction is made the
  61. ramdom order of the photographs changes as does the sequence of the
  62. photographs.
